My cat appears to have trauma to the upper part of her ear. It is swallen up like a balloon. I don't know what to do as I have no money to get her to the vet. We were told to use black sav or triple antibiotic cream. We have done this (both) It appears to have gone down a bit but still hasn't gone away. Funny thing is she doesn't appear to be bothered much by it. Is there any other home remedy treatments we can perform?
This sounds like something called an aural hematoma which is usually caused by trauma to the ear most commonly from an ear infection. This should be checked by your vet. In my opinion the best way to treat this is surgically but your vet may have other ideas since money is an issue. vetcare
