We are the proud owners of one cat, Thomas and one dog, Pokanose. Both animals have a continuous flea problem. Our daughter, Emily, spent three days in intensive care at the hospital from a pesticide reaction. Emily is highly allergic to many things and we are afraid to use anything on our pets except a flea comb and bathing in regular dog and cat shampoos. Do we have any alternatives other than external pesticedes? Emily loves our pets and hugs and cuddles with them several times a day. Our pets are indoors with us and I flea comb them sometimes three times a day, half an hour for each pet each time and our furry friends still have fleas after three months of continuous combings. I understand that Vets are extremely busy and have families too. And I thank you for the time you spent reading and answering this e-mail.
I would only use flea shampoos and combs like you said. I would check with the pediatrician first. vetcare
