What credentials about a vet should I look for? How can I check A particular vets background? How do I determine if what I am being charged is reasonable? How come when I signed up for this service my vet was so against it? He denied me getting medication from this site because he was not getting a bigger price for the same prescribed medication that this site sells. Talked me into doing additional tests $$$$$$ blood work, etc. I am very frustrated and all I want to do is take care of our Pets!!!!!!!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, unfortunately I hear this all too often. You can call your state veterinarian board and find out if the vet has had any complaints against him/her. I think the best way of finding a vet is through word of mouth. Ask friends and family whom you trust. Your vet is required to write you a rx if you ask for one, after the vet has prescribed a medication. Good luck, vetcare
