I have a large white German Shepard dog that continues to have yeast infections in her ears causing her to scratch and whine every day. I have taken her to the vet and they give her a shot and more cream but it doesn't help. I have had all the hair in her ears trimed thinking this will let air get to the area and dry it up. Vet said it was because it was staying damp inside the ears. Any other ideas I could try. Thanks.
You may want to try a drying solution for the ears. There are many different types of ear drying products for dogs sold otc. Some dogs with allergies have chronic ear infections as well. Does your pet have allergies? If your pet has allergies then you may want to talk to your vet about allergy testing. vetcare
