My dog is very aggressive towards the vet and his assistants, so I like to clip her nails myself. It has become more and more difficult over the years because she has become more wild for even me to control. This is the only problem I have with her. She is a great dog. She won't bite me; she is just too much to handle. Would there be a home sedative like aspirin that I could give her to somewhat sedate her so I could get the nail clipping done? I am on a tight budget so taking her in to get the job done is quite expensive because they will sedate her themselves, which in turn will cost more money.
Aspirin will not sedate your pet. There are sedatives available and your best bet is to talk it over with your vet b/c they are prescription meds. vetcare
