my dog has a limp in her right rear leg and it mostly affects her after she has been sitting or lying down for a while and at first she can not put any pressure on it but it seems after awhile it loosens up for her . she is a 8 year old mixed breed and when she was a pup she fractured her growth cartiage in her knee and i suspect that this is where the pain is from but i also have a 2 year old child that is constantly stepping on her foot as well so this may be a injury as well. but the dog has no discomfort when you rub and massage these areas in question the only pain she has mostly pertains to standing on the leg. so my question is if this is arthritis can i give her a aspirin or some other type of pain releiver for her discomfort.
Have you considered bringing your pet to the vet for this. There are many different anti-inflammatories on the market for dogs that work great. vetcare
