My poodle, Butch, is 16 years old. He's been sneezing and coughing for the past 2 weeks. I took him to the vet, and the vet prescribed Baytril and pediatric nose drops twice daily. Didn't work. Went back to the vet. The vet thinks it's a tumor and wanted to do an x-ray. I refused, and opted for a culture instead, and we're waiting on the results of that. This diagnosis just doesn't sound right. When Butch sneezes, a yellow discharge comes out of his nose. I'm no vet, but could this be a sinus infection? Is so, won't Antirobe clear it up? Thank you.
A sinus infection is possible but so is a tumor in the nasal cavity. Antirobe will only kill bacteria sensitive to it. vetcare
