I am inquiring for a friend who medicates her old dog with Rimadyl and her vet charges her $60.00 per month for a months supply. She asked him for a prescription to buy on the internet at a cheaper price and he told her that if she did that he would pull the prescription. That is not a fair thing to me so what I want to know is does she have to have a written prescription to buy Rimadyl from you on the internet? How would she go about getting one if she has to have one without seeing another vet and incurring all the expense to have the animal evaluated for a prescription? I hope I have made these questions clear. I told her to find another vet but they just don't have th money to do that or are unwilling to do that since this guy has been their vet for many years.
Rimadyl does require a prescription. Your friend should call the state veterinary board and report this b/c this is not ethical. vetcare
