I have two cats, both are strays that have adopted my daughters and I. We have noticed that one of them has white tiny worms when it uses the kitty litter box. Can you suggest something to help rid the kitten/cat of it? Futhermore, if not treated what could happen to the kitten/cat? The other kitten/cat does not seem to have them, can the worms be passed from one to the other and can they infect my daughters and I?
Please help, Sincerely,
If one cat has woms you can safely assume that both the cats have it. I would treat both cats with a dewomer but first you need a diagnosis on the type of worms your cat has. Your vet should be able to make a diagnosis with a stool sample. Then the proper treatment can be given. Your cat can get sick if you do nothing- loose weight, diarrhea, vomit, etc.. vetcare
