One, of five, of my female cats has started to spray my kitchen counters, refridgerator, speakers, stereo cabinet, table cloths, basically anything she can climb up to reach or stand in front of, even urinated ON TOP of the fridge. I've had her for about 9 years and she just started this spraying habit about 2 years ago when we moved into our home. I know another cat lived there before we moved in and she started this terrible act after we'd been in the house about 6 months. I've tried sprays, aluminum foil, saran wrap and news paper. Nothing is working. We video taped her in the act so we know which one is doing it. I am seriously considering putting her down before the other cats catch on to her nasty habit. I'm at my wits end as to how to break this nasty habit. I can't bar her to outside because the other cats and my dog will also be banished. What to do?
Talk to your vet about diazepam. This should put an end to this habit. Good luck, vetcare
