I have a 3 month old Maltese that will NOT chew her food - AT ALL. She's healthy otherwise. She shows lots of anxiety at meal time, can't get it fast enough, and then sucks it all (dry kibles) in seconds. I've tried wetting it, smaller more frequent portions, larger portions. I'm sure it's not hunger based. Any suggestions? If not, is this ok? Is food still being digested well? I read something about adding digestive enzymes. Oh, she's negative for parasites and was just de-wormed, just in case.
Is she vomiting , having diarrhea, regurgitating, lossing weight or sick in any way from the way she eats? If not, then do not worry. vetcare
