My dog has chewed his leg raw since he was a puppy. The dog is now 5 years old and continues to chew at his legs until they are raw. Our vet gave him a prescription that only cleared the problem up for a short while. Is there anything I can put on the dog's legs to prevent him from chewing at himself?
You can try bitter apple. This will help deter the licking. It sounds like your pet may have OCD or an allergy. Maybe an anit-anxiety medication will help. Good luck, vetcare
