My adult cat has rice like kernels around his anus. A few of these are hard, like a small piece of wood or sawdust and some have been a worm. One time I did see a long, small diameter worm about an inch long. I have now given the cat two doses of D-Worm (liquid), active ingredient piperazine and the rice kernels do not seem to be going away. I called the local Pet's Mart and they say it is round worm, not tape worm but another post on your web site says this rice size kernel IS tape worm. What should I purchase on your web site to take care of this?
Your pet should be seen by a vet. You already wasted money by trying to diagnose this on your own. Tapeworms look like rice and the best medication is by prescription. I usually use Droncit. Vetcare
