My 5 yrs old Male nuetered cat was being treated for a UTI, with Baytril for 10 days . He continued going in and out of his litter box with no results and I found a small about of urine w/blood in it. The vet took an x-ray of his bladder for stones and found he has a small bladder with thick walls and he cannot hold urine, thats why he goes frequently. He is now on Prednisoone to shink the bladder walls and still on Baytril to kill any bacteria causing the UTI. Is this possible a small Bladder? and will Prednisolone cure this? I am going broke !!!
What your vet might mean is because the bladder is thickened it is actually smaller in size ( less room in the lumen to hold urine ). Why don't you ask your vet exactly what he/she means by this? vetcare
