I have been feeding my 15 yr. old cat Puina cat chow for years now because any other type of food he would get sick on because of the dyes and fish in them. Now he is throwing up the purina and it is mostly a solid texture like he isn't chewing it up and digesteing it. He does have a growth on his cheek that has been there but vet said it wasn't anything to worry about because he didn't want to remove it because of his age and it hasn't gotten worse or bigger. I have started to give him small size meals 2-3 times a day instead of letting him eat freely. Should I switch him to a can food and what would be the best for a 15 yr. old cat.
First, a vet should examine him. There may be another problem causing the vomiting. vetcare
