2 large, slightly red growths developed slowly over past year on the anterior chest of our 4-yr old male budgie. They are rather unsightly, remain mostly feather-covered, and other than sometimes affecting his balance, seem NOT to bother him. No vets in our area treat budgies or will answer questions.
What are these masses? Is there anything that we can (should) do for him?
I would have to see the mass and possibly biopsy it to tell you what it is. I recommend that you call a few more hospitals in your area so you can find a vet who treats birds. A vet should look at the mass before it gets worse. Vetcare
