I have 3 cats, ages 11yrs 2yrs & 7mo, I am occasionally finding the worms that are white look like rice when dried but are pliable and go from rice like to flat when they move. What are these and what gets rid of them. I have an over the counter wormer but they keep reappearing. First the older one then the 2yr old but not the kitten yet. Since it is winter the cats stay indoors and do not seem to have any fleas nor do they catch any rodents. Thank You.
It sounds like your cats have tapeworm which is treated with Droncit. This type of worm is transmitted by fleas. I recommend a visit to the vet. Bring a stool sample. Good luck, vetcare
