My 15-month Golden Retriever (F) has had recurring UTIs and is now on an 8-week course of Baytril. She has been breathing rapidly, heavily and erratically non stop for about four weeks. Blood tests, chest X-rays and physical exams have shown nothing remarkable. What could be causing this?
Thank you.
Heavy breathing can be associated with pulmonary disease, upper airway disease, heart disease, pain, fever, and many other things. Exactly why your pet is breathing heavy, I do not know. vetcare
