I am looking for basic information about cronic hepatitis, that is one of the diseases my pet may have. Her liver is double the size it should be and her blood work ruled out cushing's disease.
Chronic hepatitis ia a heterogeneous group of necrotizing inflammatory diseases of the liver. Clinical signs are vague such as anorexia, wt loss, depression, initially then later in the dz process, jaundice, ascites (fluid build up in tha abdomen, etc.. The cause of chronic hepatitis , in most cases, is unknown. Did your vet recommend a liver biopsy. This may have some answers for you. Thanks, vetcare
