I'm fairly new to being a Feline owner. Never personally owned one until 8 years ago when I married my husband. My question is this. How necessary is it to vaccinate indoor pets if they never leave the home or interact with pets from outside the family home? I'm referring to vaccines such as rabies.
By law in most, if not all states, a rabies vaccine is required. Interms of FVRCP vaccine, I recommend it b/c you can bring it into the house after you come in contact with other cats. I do not recommend FELV, FIV, FIP and Giardia vaccine for indoor cats (unless they are exposed). vetcare
