I have had my female cat for 10 years and my male cat for 8 years. about 3 months ago my male cat has started urinating on my carpets, or under my bed. The smell is, Well... I think you know. I have spent so much money on carpet cleaning for pets and nothing seems to work. Next week, I will be taking my male cat to the Vet for a complete exame. Is there is something I can do the get the smell out of the carpets????? I am on the point of maybe putting the male cat down, especially if it something I can not afford to pay. I have not worked in over 2 years and I can no longer rob Peter to pay Paul.
If your vet finds that your cat has a behavioral problem then he/she may try anti-anxiety meds. This may help your pets problem. To neutralize the scent you can try natures miracle. vetcare
