I purchased the Hartz Control Flea & Flea Egg Killer for Dogs Spray at our local Walmart...while waiting to receive my shipment of Advantage Flea Control for Dogs. The spray contains the ingredient....Tetrachlorvinphos...and I have never seen this particular insecticide listed before on any other products.
My question is...the two main Ingredients:
I am aware that Methoprene is a IGR & I realize that Tertrachlorvinphos must be the insecticide...but what class of Flea Insecticides does it fall under:(Ex...Pyrethoids...Organophosphates (and organocarbamates).Arylheterocycles..or something else?) I know the Organophosphates can often be toxic in the Greyhound breed & I saw no warning on the label if the medication/insecticide is w/in this group. Please let me know exactly what group this falls under & any information on safety testing would be extremely helpful on this product...in terms of toxic reactions if ingested by dogs duri
