I have a cat that about 4 to 5 years old. She has been fix and she is clawing at my sofa. I have things for her to claw at but she likes my sofa. She also alone all day while I am at work. So I can't use the spry bottle, to get her to stop. I would like to get my cat declawed but would she know that she has no nail. Would it hurt her or will she get depress. She is a house cat she don't go out of the appartment. Please let me know.
It is safe to perform this procedure on a 4-5 year old cat. Before you have it done try to place a bit of the fabric from the sofa on the cats scratching board. This may help attract your cat to the board. vetcare
