I provide a home for 11 cats. They range in years between 2 and 7 years old.
They were all feral at one time, some can be handled, others cannot easily.
Somehow some of them have taken on some fleas and at least one now has worms.
I am looking for a recommendation for a home treatment program that is effective and cost efficient. Individual baths would be difficult for each one.
What product and method of treatment would you recommend? to remove the fleas and for de-worming.
Thank you kindly
For the fleas, I recommend advantage or frontline plus. Frontline plus may be better in your situation b/c it lasts for 3 months. Fleas transmit tapeworm. Your cats may have tapeworm but it is impossible for me to say for sure. I recommend that you bring a stool sample to your local vet for analysis ( bring the stool of the cat that has worms) Your vet will be able to tell you which is the best worming treatment. vetcare
