We recently adopted a lab-shepard mix. She is 1-2 yrs old, was hit by a car, broke her jaw, and had a penetrating leg wound. She was pregnant and lost her litter and then was spayed by the humane society. All of her injuries etc occured in may. We adopted her the 1st week of july. She has 2 front teethe that point down. We are feeding her kibbles n bits because it is soft and she has trouble with hard food. She frequently refluxes or spits up clear frothy sputum on the carpet. What should we do? Also she is house trained but she frequently stools/voids on the carpet. We are trying crate training but she is going to the bathroom in her crate as well. Is this a common behavior problem or a medical problem? Her urine is clear bright yellow and is not pungent. Her stools are soft and formed. Thank you.
It sounds like she is not house trained and that is why she is going to the bathroom in the house. I recommend that you call a local trainer in to hlep. Your pet is older and has many complex problems. The help of a trainer may give you the extra edge you need in house training. vetcare
