Lucy has a history of skin cysts, but they have not caused much of a problem in the past. As the vet has advised, we pop them when they are ready and then clean them with an anticeptic. She has had the same cyst for several months, but it is not taking on the same characteristics as the others. It is about the size of a small marble, it is pretty hard, and it shows no signs of coming to a head. She is not bothered by it and the vet was not concerned about it at our last visit a couple of months ago. Should I seek a second opinion? What do you think it is? An ingrown hair? Thanks for your reply.
Cysts come in all shapes and forms. Have your vet check it again. If you do not feel comfortable with your vet then go for a second opinion. vetcare
