My cat is 19 yrs old and I have turned her from outdoors to indoor cat for about six months now. The last few days she has gone down hill rather rapidly; not eattng, only drinking water, unable to clean herself, and just recently she is unable to jump up on her favorite place to sleep. Her rear legs are unsteady and her voice is very weak. I know she is probably going quickly now, but does not appear to be in pain. Is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable? She is a very dear friend and I have had her since she was born.
I am sorry but it sounds like her time is coming. You should consider a vet visit. Maybe the vet can give her medication/fliuds to make her more confortable. For mow keep her warm and hydrated. Try warming up food for her. You can try warm baby food. vetcare
