I have a 7 mo. old birman who has been on cefa drops, erythromycin ointment, and zythromax all for a condition that he has had off and on in his eyes. He gets a build up which starts as kind of gooy and as the day/night goes on, it becomes a crusty build up. The condition seems to improve after treatment. I have had the best results with zythromax. I thought the condition was completely cleared up. He didn't have any symptoms for several weeks. I then decided to buy another birman (same age) and a month later now, they BOTH have this eye condition. Could you please advise me? Could you prescribe something? Thanks!
No, I can not prescribe anything but it sounds like your cat may have a viral infection. I recommend a consult with an ophthalmologist for a second opinon. vetcare
