I've read so many articles, and heard so many opinions on why cats use the bathroom in places other than the litter pan and how to stop it, but every method I try never seems to work. I have a non-spayed female hymilayan cat that will be 5 years old soon. She has for a while now been soiling outside of her litter pan, either in the corner of my room, corners of the hallway in the house, or in the bath tub when the door is open. I always check her litter pan to make sure that it's clean every chance I think to, and I usually keep the bathtub door shut, but sometimes I forget. Either way, she shouldn't be doing this. I've had her checked and she has no tract infection. Sometimes it just seems that she does it because a corner in the room is more convienent than having to get up and walk to the bathroom. What do you recommend that I try to do to eliminate this habit?
Thank you for your time.
First, spay her. If this does not work then ask your vet about valium. vetcare
