We raise Labrador Retrievers, we also have children who swim all summer long. From our time on swim team, we learned of a simple solution to help combat swimmers ear. (1 T. white vinegar + 1 T. rubbing alcohol, kept in a sterile dropper bottle, place 4 drops in each ear after swimming to discourage bacterial growth and help dry ears.)I use a few drops of this solution on a cotton ball to clean the earwax from the dogs outer ears. What I wanted to know is, could I also drop a few drops in the dogs ear to help dry out the ear after training in the pond, swimming, or bathing should any water happen to get in their ear?
I do not see a big problem with this. vetcare
