My cat has polydipsia (drinks large quantities of water) and occasionally (once a month)urinates large quantities (approx 1 cup of urine) on comforters on horizontal surfaces. His coat looks fine but he seems unusually hissy and attacks our female cat that he has been around for 3 years. This behavior has been a problem for 6-8 months. He is 3 years old in June 2003 and he is a Silver Tabby weighing 19 pounds. No weight loss. Is it possible that he might have Cushings disease and be more nervous from the increased Cortisol? Everything seems to set him off.
This disease is not seen in cats. vetcare
