We have a 9 mos. old Siberian Husky puppy, who will have nothing to do with his puppy food anymore. Reason: my husband who has Alzheimer's forgets he's not supposed to feed Kodi all or part of his meal and gets VERY upset if I put the dog outside during mealtime. Kodi is now an Oscar award winning beggar living on human food. Is there any way I can get him back on puppy food or as a last resort, cook food (which I have tried to do)for Kodi that is nutritious for him before he ends up with his own place setting complete with silverware at the table?
At this point your dog should be on adult food. If he snubs his nose at the adult dog food then you can try cooking chicken and rice for him. Dogs can eat almost anything that humans eat except chocolate and onions. Try mixing some human food with his dog food. Good luck, vetcare
