I have a wild cat that came up to my house lame a few years ago, I have finally within the last 2 years been able to pet if he is in the mood, he has never tried to bite, but he does slap pretty hard. Problem, he appears to have a severe ear infection. I have talked to a local vet, but they state that his age and health I should not cage him and if I did they will not treat him. They sold me Revolution and I was able to use that, however the infection has not gone away. Is there anything I can put in his food and might help this poor boy? I can not put anything directly in the ear. Thank you for any information.
I do not understand why the vet will not treat the cat? I quess you can ask your vet for antibiotics that you can put in the food but I am not sure if it will work. vetcare
