I recently returned from a 2 week vacation. My cat had very good care, but he missed me a great deal. My friend said 3 days before I returned Topaz refused to eat. He has lost some weight and kind of listless. There seemed to be a slight discharge coming out so I cleaned it with warm water. He is drinking ok, but food just doesn't appeal to him. Topaz is 11 years old and my constant companion. Please help me and tell me what I need to give him to help him out. The vets around here are only interested in money and after yours runs out they tell you to put your pet down. I don't want to do that And you shouldn't have to just because you run out of money. You don't put your child to death because you can't pay for their medical treatment.
Thank you for any advice you can give me.

If your pet is not eating and you have tries different foods and warming up the food then your pet must be seen by a vet. I am sure the vets are interested in helping your pet or they would not be in the business. vetcare
