I've had 2 cats for almost 7 years. I also have 2 small boys that were born w/in the last 2 years. They did really good during this time. Now one of them (females) has decided to stop using the litter box and has found a place in my bedroom floor and it is making my whole house stink. How do I get her to stop and how do I get rid of this oder. She has been doing this on and off for about a month and she is a healthy cat. This litter box is in the same room where she eats and it has always been like that so if she can go and eat why does she choose not to use the litter box. Please help me because I don't want to get rid of her but this has got to stop. Because of this my husband wants to put them outside in the spring but they are both declawed and have never been outside what is your opinion on this? I don't want them to get hurt outside and I don't want him to do this but if she doesn't stop I don't know what else to do.
Thank you for your help
If you have several cats then you need several litter boxes. Clean the soiled area with natures miricle. Deny access into the room she soils. vetcare
