My 2 years old Pomeranian will occasionally cough in the night as if he is having an asthma attack. We used to sleep with the fan on at night and have noticed that the fan has made his condition worse. Since we turned off the fan, he is getting better. Recently his asthma-like cough has started again and I suspected it might be because I leave the window opened at night when we sleep. Everybody keeps telling me that he is suffering from allergy. Please give me your professional opinion on this matter. Thank you.
I recommend physical exam by a vet and possibly a chest x-ray . Coughing is a clinical sign of many diseases. It is hard for me to make a diagnosis without examining an animal. vetcare
