My 13 yr. old spayed female cocker spaniel takes .3mg of thyroxine (1/2 tab. every 12 hours), digoxin (.125mg 1 tab every 12 hours) and .25 mg of lasix every 24 hours. Recently I began to give her Tumil-K potassium tablets (1 tablet is 486 mg ) I am concerned with any reaction to the digoxin, also would like to know how much potassium is necessary on a daily basis for a dog weighing 32.6 pounds. Is there any way to determine if she is getting the right amount of potassium. Thank you for any assistance.
AS far as I know you do not have to worry about a reaction with the dig. and K. Your vet should give you a dose for the tumil-k based on your pets blood work. vetcare
