My vet told me my dog had coushings, she did not tell me what started it or how it could be cured, she just keeps wanting me to get shots for him and she keeps giving him blood test, it is becoming very costly, is there something called coushings and cal my new born daughter be exposed to it, or my cat, My dog is a greman shep. and is 6 years old. He lost all his hair on his tail, and is bitting himself like he is itching, but he has no fleas. He is an in door dog, and sleeps mostly on our bed or funature, should I be worried about spreading this to famaily???.
This is a glandular disease and it is not contagious. Vetcare
