I have a 90lb 10 year old Dogo Argentino. She has bad hips and has been prescribed 100mg Rimadyl. The Rimadyl appears to have improved her condition. Is the Rimadyl safer than Etogesic, or are they basically the same? Etogesic will be easier to administer, since it is a once a day medication and it costs less than the Rimadyl on your site. Please advise. Thank you.
I usually use etogesic on dogs for arthritis that have liver dysfunction b/c the Rimadyl can further complicate the liver problems. Otherwise, i find that both work well for arthritis. Good luck, vetcare
