After taking my 12 yr old cat to the vet that was suffering from lack of appetite and losing weight dramatically on 10-19-02, she was given vitamins, antibiotics, Prenisode and Lactulose only before an estimate testing was suggested.
My question is: If my veterinarian's physical exam indicated that my cat had a lump in her stomach, which could be stomach cancer, why wouldn't he have given me something stronger than the above mentioned medicines. He also mentioned that she was eating on her own while in his care prompting me to retreve her 10-22-09. Up until the day of her passing, 11-16-02 at 1:10am, I dipensed all the meds and force-fed her baby food. Could stronger med had saved her? Or should I be satisfied with the $601.00 placebos?
Why don't you call your vet with these questions. I can not answer for your vet. vetcare
