MY FEMALE TABBY WAS DECLAWED AT THE APPROPIATE TIME. AFTER THE SURGERY TIL PRESENT SHE SEEMS TO ALWAYS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HER LEFT PAW. IT LOOKS FINE BUT WHEN SHE SITS SHE HOLDS IT UP AND NEVER WANTS TO PUT PRESSURE ON IT LIKE ITS SOAR. ITS BEEN ABOUT YEAR SINCE SHE WAS DECLAWED. COULD THE VET HAVE CAUSED SOME TYPE OF NERVE DAMAGE DURING THE PROCEDURE? HER PAW WAS FINE BEFORE WE ONLY NOTICED THIS BEHAVIOR AFTER SHE WAS DECLAWED.
I recommend that you have her checked by the vet. It is possible that the claw is growing back?? I do not think there is nerve damage, but I do not have the privilege of examining your pet. vetcare
