We have moved from Ghana (West Africa - sub-tropical) to Finland (Artic Sircle) and brought two cats with us (brothers) that we got about 3 years before the move. They are now mainly living inside (because of the snow) where they were used to going outside freely before. They are fighting all the time,(chasing each other and hissing and clawing each other - also a lot of sniffing genicals - both have been spayed when they were 6 months old) but still sometimes sleep together. The house is not very big and in the meanwhile we got two kids as well!!!
Do you have any advice on how to handle the problem and to make them accept the kids too?
The cats are going through stress with the move and inability to go outside. I recommend that you try to buy a "cat gymborie" ( ie scratching board, play things etc.. ) This may help keep them entertained and reduce the stress. Good luck, vetcare
