My female, which is currently in heat, has round lesions that are wheeping a clear viscous fluid. I thought that it was possibly ring worm at first, but the lesions are spreading much too fast, and are far more swollen than any ring worm case that I have noticed in the past. The lesions are all concentrated close to the mouth. She is showing the tell-tale signs of hair loss in the lesions and has been in contact with a puppy diagnosed w/ ring worm within the last months. Do you have any possible diagnosis? She is eating and drinking, as well as sleeping, normally.
Yor pet should be seen by a vet it is impossible for me to make a diagnosis over the internet, without a physical exam. This could be an immune mediated dz, ringworm, or many other things. good luck, vetcare
