My cat has been diagnosed with this gum disorder--cause unknown. All tests show the cat is not FeLV or FIP infected. She has had her teeth cleaned twice this year already. She can barely eat and medications (prednisone) are basically ineffective. WHAT else can I do? Two Vets have seen her and they disagree -- both tell me there is no cure. Should I try holistic? Any meds you carry that will help her?
Thank you in advance.
You can try any oral rinse, most have antibacterial medication in them. I usually treat this with depo-medrol which is a strong steroid. I recommend that you see a vet dentist. vetcare
