I have an 11 year old femail westie. She is in good health and gets plenty of exercise running around acerage. She is mostly a outdoor pet. Her alergies have become so bad she can't sleep and is chewing herself raw. I was told by our vet to give benadril when the iching gets bad, which I do. Is there anything (like a shot) I can give her for long time releaf.
Yes, you can ask your vet for a cortisol shot and/or Temeral-P pills. This will stop the itching. Good luck, vetcare
