lasts approx five years, have bought two in ten years.
I have used this product on my dogs for the past ten years. My dogs weigh between 90-120 #. Eventually the springs rust in the clasp and break (approx 5 yrs each time). I will buy no other collar. by madjr on 03/30/2015
