Shiny Coat

My pups were on Apoquel for quite some time and I was very concerned about how it might me affecting their kidneys and liver. I did some research and found that fish oil might help. They have been taking these fish oil capsules for almost 2 years now and their skin issues are completely cleared up. Great product and much safer for them.

Our vet recommended this for our Westie due to her sensitive skin and allergies. It seems to be working well, but the pills are so big it is hard to disguise them in her food. Sometimes she spits them out and I have to bury them in cream cheese so she will swallow them. I have tried puncturing them and putting the liquid on her food, but she won't eat it. I just wish there was a smaller pill, even if I had to put two of them in her food. I think she would be less likely to notice them.
