Great Product!

Great for Stomach Issues and Weight Management

This food is one of the only foods that helps my giant maine coon mix with his sensitive stomach issues. The reduced calories also helped get him to a healthy weight so he isn't so "giant" anymore.

Cats love it

I have a younger cat who is very fussy about canned food. I must have tried dozens of different varieties of canned food and she loves the Instinct canned food. The older cat loves it too. Thanks for making a canned cat food that is actually good for my cats!

Awesome Food!

My 13.5 year old Dachshund has been eating NV (all variations) for about 7 years now and I can't say enough good things about this food. Vibrant eyes and a silky coat are not the only benefits either. He still has plenty of energy and stamina on our walks and no one believes he is going on 14 years old, which he will be in September! As the title says, this is a awesome food!!

best grain free canned food I've tried

Smokey is my youngest of cats and has now had digestive problems eg vomiting and diarrhea for several years until I introduced him to Nature's Variety Instinct... it acted on him like magic and he now will only eat the original chicken and never touches the kibble I feed the other cats which is also a grain free kibble ... the price is high but I hope to be able to continue feeding it to only him... though I'd love to be able to afford to feed it to all of them... but I doubt that will happen when I go on only a canadian pension after this month ...

Only food that all 3 cats will eat

My cats have some health issues and learned that grain free is the only way to go. Â Problem was I couldn't get them all to agree on the same food until Instinct. Â They all love it. Â Each has a favorite favor. Â The salmon, chicken and pork seem to be the best but they also like rabbit and duck.

Top quality and well liked

I had an adopted feral cat that was very sick with IBD and cancer but was truly an angel. At the time it seemed that raw food was the only option out there but it was so time consuming to prepare and required proper proportions of all kinds of supplements. I now have 2 healthy kittens and have vowed to only feed them the best food after having learned that IBD is so prevalent in cats and realizing that their diet is solely based on me making the right choice. I have done a lot of research and determined that Instinct food has the right proportions of carbs,fats and required nutrients without compromising quality. The cats love it and have never refused to eat a single can. I've tried all flavors. I use the raw boost also and love the convenience of a raw food in a dehydrated form.Unlike other companies, Nature's Variety is a quality company with meaningful(transparent) nutritional information and many grain free options for convenience and lifestyle.Â

The Smack Snack

I discovered Instinct Chicken Formula while trying to save my little Sneezer's life. My Sneezer weighed 28 pounds and for her size was grossly overweight. She also started to develop an tolerance for all foods that were grain based. I tried many different varieties of dry and wet food and things kept getting worse. Finally, I was visiting a local pet store, and the owner said I should try Instinct Chicken Formula wet food and within days I had significant improvement. In a few more weeks, I had a new kitty. Sneezer has been on Instinct Formula for about a year and a half now and she now weighs 13.5 pounds and has so much energy and life. One of the most important facts that I want to tell you is that Sneezer is 14 years old now and acts like she is 5 years old. I don't know how long I will have my old friend, but I think Instinct has given me another nine lives for Sneezer.

Love this product

I actually really like this product line, although the price is bit pricey compare to other brands. I have tried all grain-free can cat food brand, still like this one the best. When you open the can, you can tell they are made our of real meat, not meal, and they smell good too. I put Instinct with other brand can food in one bowl, my cat ate Instinct first.Â

A very reliable Company

Nowadays, Â its difficult to find a company that will stand by their food and do voluntary recalls if they suspect for even a moment that they may have cross contaminated something. Â Nature's Variety has this kind of accountability toward their product, and it comforts me to know that they care about the quality of their food. Â I've feed this food to 1 of my cats, on and off for 5 years. Â She has a very sensitive GI tract so no food sits well with her for long. Â However, Â Nature's Instinct always sits well with her and fills her up faster than the cheaper end foods. Â You may be paying almost twice as much for a can, Â but Â also keeps them fuller, longer. You'll see a difference in their coat and their energy within 2 weeks. Â

Stasiu Noelle Loves It - Exceeds My Expectations!

Nature's Variety was overwhelmingly recommended by my local retailer, and they were right on! Stasiu started out as an abandoned, feral kitten (i.e., rough start). She took to Instinct cans, kibble and treats immediately. Her coat is gorgeous, she is maintaining her weight, and even the vet is impressed with her overall health and appearance. We are very impressed with the product line and variety and are absolutely satisfied consumers!

Great for allergies, saved my cat!

One of my cats, Costello, was suffering from digestion problems and terrible diarrhea for about 3 years. Several vets could not figure it out, and I began to do my own research. I saw lots of suggestions to go grain-free, even to try a canned only diet and completely remove dry food. One of the brands recommended was Nature's Variety Instinct, so I gave it a try. Â Within just 3 days I saw a significant improvement! I couldn't believe it! For the first time in 3 years Costello had normal, firm stool. He has also stopped vomiting. Since then I have kept him only on Nature's Variety Instinct canned food and he has been a much healthier and happy kitty. This food has helped save him (and me) from years of suffering. Thank you for such a great product!

Zac lurves!

I've been gradually making a switch to NV's Instinct products as I've done research and found the company's ethos really commendable. My 10 month old loves your kibble, raw/frozen medallions, and canned food. His favorite flavor is the chicken. I never have to worry about him finishing whatever I put down. give him 2 minutes and the plate is clean! He's also having regular and solid bowel movements (yay!) and is energetic. Thank you!
