Answer

MilbeMite Otic Solution for ear mites takes 7 to 30 days to work. You use the MilbeMite Otic Solution for treating ear mite infestations in cats. Like a lot of external parasite killers or medication, the MilbeMite takes a bit of time to show its work. Usually, to start work, it can take one to three weeks. It could even take up to four weeks to get rid of the ear mite infestations completely. It is to be noted that the treatment of ear mites, in general, can take up to 21 days, no matter what type of treatment or medication you use. Hence, the 7 to 30 days wait in the case of MilbeMite is not too long. It is the same as any other type of ear mite treatment procedure.

What is MilbeMite Otic?
Answer

MilbeMite Otic is an ear solution that you can use to kill ear mites in your cats that are at four weeks of age and older. The Milbemycin oxime, which is the key element in this solution, is what initiates the infestation clearing process. MilbeMite Otic Solution is a clean and simple way to deal with your catโ€™s ear mites. It is very effective and can get rid of the mite infestations in 7 to 30 days. And since the solution is non-oily, you do not have to worry about getting your cat or hands all messy and oiled up. How do you give a cat MilbeMite?
Answer

One MilbeMite pouch contains two tubes of solution, and you have to apply one tube per ear. Treatment may be performed by applying the recommended amount of solution to the base of the ear. Then, massage it slowly up to the external ear canal. Be very gentle as you do so, and avoid using cotton buds to massage the ear. They might hurt your cat if there is any sudden movement. While each tube is for a single ear, you should check with the dosage amount prescribed by your vet. You should also ask them whether or not you need to clean the catโ€™s ear before applying the solution.

Is MilbeMite safe for dogs?
Answer

Yes, MilbeMite is safe for dogs. Cats need one tube per ear whereas dogs need two per ear. It is best to ask your vet before using MilbeMite on your dogs.

Can humans get ear mites from cats?
