Dogs love them, but they don't last

We have an aussie and a corgi who absolutely LOVE these toys. They are favorites, no question about that. Unfortunately, both dogs can shred them in seconds, so they can never be out of our site-- otherwise the toy is destroyed in less than 5 minutes. We keep it sitting up on the mantle and throw it as a special treat and then have to put it back up so they don't destroy it on the first use. They'e too expensive to be a one-time use toy- but I can't even describe how much they love it-- so... we cave and buy them any time we see it on sale.
